Snowshoe Hare Snowshoeing Log
A track of all my snowshoeing trips to Snowshoe Hare

This is one of a few trips I repeat many times, so all trips are logged here, as many do not need their own full page.

Distance - 5.3km
Elevation Gain - ~150m cumulative

Snowshoe Hare is an official designated snowshoe trail in West Bragg Creek.
It is on the north side of the parking lot, and rolls through the hilly area looping outside the Hostel Loop, and around the Telephone Line.
The net elevation gain is only 100m, but it does a lot of small up and down along the way.
While it is not available in summer, due to the east side being marshy, often in the winter it is hikeable, when we have not had a large amount of snow.
I've actually hiked the trail more often than I have snowshoed it, but either way, it's a nice loop.
It's also one of my favourites to introduce new snowshoers, as the frequent signs in open forest are good route-finding practice.
