Murray Lookout Snowshoeing Log
A track of all my snowshoeing trips to Murray Lookout

This is one of a few trips I repeat many times, so all trips are logged here, as many do not need their own full page.

Distance - ~6.5km, with variations adding or subtracting a bit of distance
Elevation Gain - 250m

Murray Lookout is a viewpoint on the northern end of the Sawmill Trails.
There are a few different routes that can be combined in different ways to reach this point and enjoy a nice out-and-back or loop snowshoe trip.
The usual route I take is on the upper trail first, leaving for a very steep ascent that then walks the length of the ridge, with a viewpoint on top.
Continuing down the other side, there are two possible returns - the upper one more direct and downhill, the lower one along interesting rolling terrain.
