The Karst Spring trail can be very nice in the spring, but this year we had such a late end to the winter that the snow was barely melted, and none of the spring flowers out.
The dreary day added to the lack of excitement, though the karst "spring" itself and the ensuing falls are always nice.

An unusually green Watridge Lake.

Looking across the lake.

The boardwalk to the trail beyond the lake.

Elizabeth Falls below the spring.

The sun comes out for a bit on the creek.

Another look at the cascade.

A large patch of snow remains on the upper trail.

Looking down at the snow patch.

The spring emerges from the walk - always cool.
