Sawmill Loop

We took the narrower Sawmill loop, going clockwise.

We had a chilly day of ~ -15 in the morning, and slowly growing warmer, with a periodically gusting wind that cooled it even more.
The creeks were flowing abnormally strong this year. Though all crossings were securely bridged, lots of water was still visible beside.
Snow around 55-60cm, though nothing new on the trail other than wind drifts.

Start of the trail heading north.

Early part of the trail through the trees.

The first of a couple unexpected creek crossings with really pretty snow and holes.

Snowshoers navigating another creek.

Downhill and heading for home.
