Distance - 3.2km each way Elevation gain - 400m
1.5 hour ascent / 1 hour descent

Jumpingpound Mountain is a long ridge between the Sibbald and Elbow areas.
There is a hiking trail that runs the full length of the N-S ridge, plus a direct trail that ascends from the west right to the summit.
For a short day trip, we hiked the summit trail, which is quite nice and makes for a decent loop with either other trail.

Laurier hikes up the trail - mostly dry, with a few snow patches.

One of the larger snow patches along the trail.

The trail skirts a snow patch.

The trail follows a rocky ridgeline near the top.
